Mafiaboy grows up; a hacker seeks redemption

On the day he knocked Yahoo offline, Michael Calce, who was known at the time only by his online moniker, Mafiaboy, estimates that he had hacked into perhaps 40 percent of the major universities in the United States, using attack code that he picked up online.

Second hacker in TJX case pleads guilty

One of the major players in the massive hacking incidents at TJX Companies Inc., BJ Wholesale Clubs Inc. and other retailers Monday pleaded guilty to identity theft and other felony charges in federal court in Boston.
