IBM, Microsoft to turn Web services specifications over to OASIS

In a move to bring the standards they've been working on to the community, IBM and Microsoft in September will submit WS-Trust, WS-SecureConversation, and WS-SecurityPolicy to OASIS for codification into specifications. The companies have other Web services security specs still in the pipeline.
