Sun prepares to open code - but for what?

Sources inside Sun say that company is preparing to release a substantial amount of code under the GPL in the next few days - but the code won't be for either Java or the Solaris operating system. The company intends to release Solaris code under its new open source Common Development and Distribution License sometime this month.
